GRATITUDE JOURNAL 2019 – Magical March

“Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.” – Henry Ward Beecher

March definitely supplied a little bit of magic to every member of our family. I feel like I received a lot of confirmation that the actions I am taking are all moving in the right direction and I am feeling clearer than ever about what to do next (such a good feeling!)

Here is my list of things I am grateful for in March.

Birthday celebrations – I flew to North Queensland to spend my best friends 30th birthday with her and some friends. I went without my little ones and husband which was a first for me and super relaxing. Bonus was I also got to see my Sister in Law and family while I was there too.

☼ Footy season is back – My son plays AFL which means training once a week and then a game on the weekend. I genuinely love the early wake ups on a Saturday to go and watch him play his game as a family.

☼ 6th Birthday Celebrations – 20190316_100624100_iOSIt was my beautiful daughters 6th birthday this month and it was such a beautiful day. We had an early birthday dinner with our family and friends which she loved. My amazing friend baked her this cake which was DELICIOUS! We are so lucky to be surrounded by such incredible family and friends.

☼ Life coaching course progress – I finished my book critique that I needed to do and I also finished the wellness coaching certificate I was doing! Its such a great feeling to be able to tick off a couple more things while working my way to become qualified.

☼ Stay at home mum joy – After being made redundant in December I wasn’t sure how I would adapt to being a stay at home mum for a while considering I have always had a job. This change has been so fulfilling for both myself and my family, I have noticed such an improvement with my son’s behaviour, both children love me being more involved with school and I feel far calmer and happier at home in general. I honestly feel like this was a role I was meant to do and I am so grateful for my husband for working as incredibly hard as he does.

I’m grateful that where I am March means spring is starting to make an appearance, with blossoms and birds singing and all that lovely stuff.

Such an excellent post. It’s so easy to move along and forget the good stuff. Happy to read the importance in your life.

March is one of those months where us Western Oregon people put our heads down trying to avoid the wind, the rain and the hail/snow. March is not for the weak around here.

We faced mother nature’s best with a big happy grin.

  7. Gratitude is a fantastic way to live for sure.

Yes time at home is important and a blessing. I dont know how many times i have been made redundant or forced to be at home. Definately it is nice to be at home and calmness follows. I work part-time and i am grateful for it .

    Happy wednesday.
