With the arrival of warmer weather, brighter nature and longer days I can feel the need for change floating in the air. Most people associate the arrival of spring with cleaning or working on your summer body but for me it’s a prompt to reboot my mind. No matter how much we change the physical parts of our life what truly makes a difference are the things going on in the space between your ears.

Weekend Wisdom – Fresh Start

“Life always offers you a second chance.  It’s called tomorrow.”

I love reading some wise words on a Sunday to start my week with a positive perspective on life and today has been no different. I saw a question pop up in an article I was reading and it instantly grabbed my attention, the question was, “Am I better today than I was yesterday?”

I truly believe that the universe wanted me to see that question today to remind me that every day is a result of past decisions made up until exactly this point. Tomorrow we are going to be the result of the decisions we make today which we have total control over. There is no point in dwelling in past decisions as we cannot rewind life and do it all over again so instead we need to grow from our challenges and move forward with every choice we make today.

Before you go to bed tonight reflect on on your day and ask yourself “Am I better today than I was yesterday?” What habits do you want to continue or what would you like to change? Review your goals to help you focus on improving tomorrow or if you don’t have goals, make some (here are my tips) to give you the motivation and drive to make the most of a new day.

If we are doing things today that will make us better tomorrow and we continue that habit day after day, we are always going to be in the process of becoming our best self.

I have felt an intense need for change over the past few weeks and with the absolutely stunning and history making lunar eclipse that happened on Saturday it was clearly a sign that the time to make those changes is NOW.
As part of this transformation I decided to replace my old vision board with new goals for the rest of the year which will give me the motivation and inspiration to action them. As a child I remember visualising my life as an adult and those visions have become reality so I’m a big believer that its a practice that works.
